Option 1:
- Set message to send 1 day prior to DOS at 10am
- Message content: Hello, this is [location]. If you have a COUGH, FEVER, or SHORTNESS of BREATH please call [phone_number] and ask to speak to a nurse. Thank you for keeping our patients and staff healthy and safe!
- Patient Response Rule (set up this rule in the message if you do not want your patient's to respond to the text message): If patient's response does not contain " * ", then respond with: This is an automated system. For immediate assistance, please call the center at [phone_number]. If this is an emergency, dial 911.
Option 2:
- Set message to send 1 day prior to DOS at 10am
- Message content:
Due to significantly rising Coronavirus concerns, we are pre-screening every patient before arrival at [location]. If you (or your ride) answer YES to any of the following questions, we ask that you call to reschedule your surgery:
- Have you been on a cruise OR traveled to a CDC defined high-risk area in the last 14 days? Have you been in contact with anyone that has?
- Do you have ANY new-onset symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath?
If you answer YES to any of these questions, please call us at [phone_number] to cancel your procedure. We appreciate your understanding of this very serious matter, as patient safety is our top priority.

To ensure that our team can provide you with the best care, please call us at [phone_number] and ask to speak to a nurse If you experience a COUGH, FEVER, or SHORTNESS of BREATH at any time prior to your appointment. Thank you for keeping our patients and staff healthy and safe! Reply YES to receive additional reminders or reply STOP to opt-out of receiving messages.
